1. INT. SHARED OFFICE SPACE – 11AM

Invisible to everyone but us, his words well within earshot if he were real, is our all-knowing NARRATOR. He strolls through an office dressed in a trench coat, slacks, and shirt, and has a dry, matter-of-fact edge about him.

                   NARRATOR

Pete here has trouble getting contracts in on time. Everyone knows he’s a bit slow.

The Narrator sits on one side of PETE’S desk. Picking up what Pete is drinking, he takes a draw off of the straw.

                   COWORKER

Hey Pete, head’s up.

The Coworker throws a foam basketball at Pete.

                   NARRATOR

Right now he’s worried about his job.

The ball hits Pete’s head. He looks with a delayed reaction.

                   PETE

(muttering at his computer)

Oh, man. I need that commission. (or deal signed?)

Narrator puts drink back down.Unaware, Pete picks up the drink and takes a long sip.

The BOSS appears in the doorway, carrying her lunch.

                   NARRATOR

          She’s the boss.

                   BOSS

(announcing to everyone)

It’s the end of the quarter, folks. I need contracts on my desk by Eeee, Oh, Dee! (EOD)

The Narrator gestures to imply ‘What she said’.

2. INT. THE BOSS’S OFFICE

Sitting at her desk, the Boss iseating her lunch. The Narrator is kicked back on a chair facing her desk and grabs a fry.

The Boss sees Pete walk by her open door.

                   BOSS

Hey Pete. Any word on the Allied contract?

Pete stops in the boss’s doorway.

                   PETE

Well. I guess George Von Waverly is fishing at Lake Vermilion. I’m just gonna drive up there.

                   BOSS

You kidding? That’s three hundred and fifty miles?

Pete nods and gulps as he walks away.

                   NARRATOR

Yeah, funny thing – yesterday the administrator was setting up Adobe EchoSign for Salesforce.

3. INT. ADMIN’S DESK/OFFICE

The Narrator walks to where the admin is revealed, setting up EchoSign.

                   NARRATOR

A wizard walked him through it. It was a piece of cake.

See screenshots of “wizard”, and ofinserting signature box in uploaded document.

Looking at screen.

                   ADMIN

(smiling to himself)

Woah. That was a piece of cake.

4. INT. HALLWAY NEAR THE FRONT DOOR

Pete passes the ADMIN on the way out the door.

          ADMIN
Hey, Pete. Off to lunch?

                   PETE

Off to get a signature.

                   NARRATOR

Too bad Pete doesn’t know that —

                   ADMIN

(Calling after Pete)

Hey.I set up Adobe Echosign. For Salesforce!

Pete is preoccupied with having what he needs and running out the door.

Pete doesn’t seem to hear.  The door closes and he’s gone.

                   ADMIN

(to himself)

Awright. See ya.

                   NARRATOR

Yep. Adobe Echosign. The e-signature solution that reduces time, expense, and simplifies the contract process.

5. INT.PETE’S CAR

Narrator is sitting in passenger seat, Pete’s driving.

                   NARRATOR

(to Pete)

Watch out for the pothole.Doh!

Pete tries to swerve, and both characters experience a bump – the car slows down and wobbles, indicating that there is a flat tire.

6. EXT.PETE’S CAR/SIDE OF THE ROAD

Pete is fixing his tire on the side of the road while the Narrator is leaning against the car eating a popsicle.

                   NARRATOR

And yes, I said Adobe. Thirty years of secure business document handling. PDF, Reader, Acrobat, almost a billion people have access from anywhere with any device. You know, what the admin saidwill dawn on him. (In 3…2…1…)

Pete seems to wake up.

                   PETE

 (to himself)

EchoSign? For Salesforce?

Pete scrambles into the car to get his tablet.

                   NARRATOR

And Pete doesn’t need to be trained. With one click, he initiates the document workflow securely from his Salesforce account, and it’s on its way…

7. INT./ PETE’S CAR

Pete grabs his tablet as the Narrator leans into the passenger window.

Screenshot of sending document for signature.

                   NARRATOR

…so that Fisher-boy-Waverly will be alerted when he receives it…

EXT. FISHING BOAT ON A LAKE

Two men are fishing on a small boat. The Narrator is floating near by in a yellow ducky life preserver. One of the men receives an ALERT on his phone/tablet and picks it up.

Screenshot of Echosign signature on phone.

                   NARRATOR

…and Pete can track it…

8. INT. PETE’S CAR

Pete is on his tablet in his car. Screenshots of tracking.

The Narrator is in the same position at the window, but with the life preserver now visible above the window sill.

9. EXT.FISHING BOAT ON A LAKE

The Narrator is now sitting in the fishing boat, still wearing the life preserver.

A screenshot shows the man signing the document.

                   NARRATOR

…and we can get this deal done and signed anytime, anywhere, on virtually any device.

10. INT.PETE’S CAR

Narrator still at the window.

                   NARRATOR

And the ease and security is also great news for customers, suppliers, and partners. And of course, for Pete.

Pete sees that the document has been signed and celebrates.

                   PETE

Yes!!! Oh, yes!!

11. INT. THE BOSS’S OFFICE

Pete pokes his head into the office. The boss is finishing up his lunch. The Narrator is sitting with the preserver still on.

                   PETE

The Allied deal is signed!

                   BOSS

Nice work.

Boss moves in for a high-five.Pete is too slow, and misses the opportunity.

After several failed attempts at the high-five, the boss nods and walks away.

                   NARRATOR

So now even Pete can streamline and speed up the contract process.

                   COWORKER

Heads up Pete!

The narrator’s hand flies into frame and catches a foam basketball just before it hits Pete in the face. Pete wanders away, admiring commission check.
